I am Louis Guarino. You may know by my moniker, Coach Louis.

What you may not know is that I have the largest sweet tooth known to mankind, I love fashion (recovering sneaker addict over here), tattoos, a good glass of red wine or Scotch (neat), and I have been doing this body transformation thingamajig full-time since 2012.

I’ve watched my clients cumulatively drop hundreds of inches, several hundred pounds, drop multiple clothing sizes, grow substantial amounts of lean muscle, and feel more confident with the ease of my coaching approach.

I Wanted What Everyone Else Had…

Growing up, you can say I was the ‘ugly duckling.’ I wasn’t the most handsome (despite what my parents would tell me), I never seemed to fit in with the ‘cool kids’ (which made me become an incredible ‘try-hard’), and when it came to getting a girlfriend – pff, I was always friend-zoned. While athletics was my thing, I was never “Mr. Popular”, and I hated feeling, thinking, and believing that I wasn’t good enough.

Fast-forward to the young, emotional, and impressionable age of 18, I had my heart smashed. It was then that I made a choice to be the very best I could be – as payback, if you will. In the winter of January 2006, I started working out and had my first protein shake. I searched the internet for workouts and meal plans. ANYTHING to rise to the top. I’ll never forget how those workouts made me feel and within several months of consistent training, I saw the visual effects of my efforts – so did everyone else.

I looked better. I felt more confident. I had more discipline in other areas of my life. It created an upgraded ‘total package’ of me.

After several years of college and not knowing what to do, then getting into a nursing program – I dropped out. I did it because I saw the effects of missing training sessions and not eating well had on me, personally. So I decided to become a certified personal trainer.

We all have a calling and I knew this was mine. I loved being in the gym, I loved working out, and I wanted others to feel that same joy and strength when they exercised and ate well.

Since 2012, I have learned what to do and what not to do to simplify the process of creating the best physique possible with realistic, proper strength-training and nutrition so you don’t feel like you’re missing out on life while trying to obtain it.

“What if I don’t know how to track my food?”


There are plenty of people who can indeed lose weight without tracking calories or macros.   Maybe for you, this hasn’t been successful but you have the opportunity to learn how to do it.

The problem is intuitive eating comes from much practice and time tracking food to build awareness.

You can either:

Not track, guess, and never lose the fat you want to go or…

You can learn how to track your calories and macros, learn what foods you need more and less of, and start to drop your body fat to lower levels.

Sure, I can give you a meal plan that’s strict, or do one for you, or tell you what you “can’t eat” but that teaches you nothing and you cannot lean on me forever. Together, you will to learn how to navigate the real world with better knowledge of food so you can go on vacation and not feel bad or get ready for the outing and still see progress.

This is all within the realm of possibility.


With the proven methods I use, you will have everything you need to lose fat, be more toned, and keep it for life.

“I Have Been Screwed by My Previous Trainer(s) and Have Spent Plenty of Money on My Health and Fitness – and Have Gotten Nowhere.”

This is totally fair and a huge reason why people either:

  • look for cheaper solutions/coaches in the hope that it works and/or
  • never try working with anyone because they have had horrible experiences in the past and/or
  • they have tried and without much success, now lack confidence.

And let’s be real – let’s say the average cost of a personal training session in most metropolitan areas such as NYC or LA or Miami or Chicago are around $100-150/hour.

That is not cheap and damnit, if you’re going to spend that kind of money, you want to know the work you’re doing is going to not only yield results but help you keep them off for a lifetime.

And to be real, to see any semblance of tangible results, you’ll probably need to see you trainer in the gym 2x/week at minimum. That averages to $800-1200 per month.

And more than likely, this is with someone who had a weekend cert giving you a cookie cutter program (or random exercises just because) thus taking the personal experience out of personal training. Couple this with the fact they are not taking care of your nutrition and coaching for long-lasting results – you are simply wasting your money there – because really, telling you to “cut sugar” and “eat more protein” isn’t teaching you anything.

For a fraction of the price, you can work with someone who puts personal back into personal training, teaches you how to have a better relationship with your food and body, teaches you how to train properly for fat loss, and gives you the confidence you never thought you’d ever have.




“All Roads Lead to Rome”, They Say. We Want to Get There as Fast as Possible.

What I mean is that yes, you can try all the quick fixes in the world and they may work in the short-term but that’s not the goal here.

And let’s not kid ourselves – we want things fast. The thing with fat loss is it can happen relatively fast but still, it takes time.

What we are going to accomplish to get the weight off and keep it off is:

  • Eating in a deficit
  • Eating enough protein
  • Strength training enough to stimulate the muscle
  • Having better food habits so you are not fearful of food

We are literally going to learn to keep it simple.

P.S. – If you’re a little hesitant, I understand so let me put your mind at ease.

There are plenty of people who would put a “guarantee” here in terms of, “I guarantee you’ll lose X pounds!” and yes, I would love to believe you can lose anywhere from 1-2lbs on average and do quite well but let’s be honest – when it comes to fat loss, the amount of weight you lose will depend on the work you do BUT I am here to aid you along in the journey.

You will have the tools and structure you need to drop those 10+ pounds and keep it off for good.

You won’t be spending hours doing cardio.

You won’t be having to deal with massive dietary restrictions.

You can indeed have sugar (within reason).

You will not feel as if your life has been flipped upside down.

You may even enjoy a glass of wine.

The point is-is you can actually have some solid results without feeling like you need to give up your entire life to get there. You just need to make some tweaks.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is where you will find answers the most commonly ask questions so you have all the info you need to make an educated decision.

What will I need to join your program?

Here are the things you will need:

– Digital food scale

– Digital weight scale

– MyFitnessPal downloaded on your phone

Now, if you are using a regular gym, this is great.

If you are training at home, the bare minimum needed is:

– a suspension trainer (TRX or similar)

– Bands with adjustable handles

How much does this program cost?

Assuming you saw a less-qualified trainer 2x per week for 12 weeks – you are looking at around $2,400. That does not include nutrition coaching. Then again, you can find someone who does online coaching for $99. You generally get what you pay for.

This is far more than a cookie cutter program and is very much far from “average” coaching. My close to a decade of training professionally, testimonials, and before/afters as well as the countless free info that have helped though who utilize it speaks for itself. 

This program offers way more with the exception of me picking up your weights and counting your reps.

I do not talk about price until we have spoken directly but understand my services are not “cheap”. Whether or not you find it expensive depends is solely your own idea but my clients sign up and find it to be worth it’s weight in gold.

What service offerings do you have?

There are 2 different services:

  • Nutrition-Only Coaching
    • This does not include any training coaching
    • This includes weekly touch-points and biweekly check-ins.
    • Good for those who already strength train or do crossfit/classes.
    • Most budget friendly.
  • Training & Nutrition Coaching
    • This includes weekly touch-points and biweekly check-ins.
    • A 1-hour Zoom call with yours truly to go over the week. (additional cost)
    • Custom training program.
    • Custom nutrition (macros) with coaching on how to track and create meal plans.
    • Exercise critiques via video
    • Averages to around what it is to see me in the gym 2x/week. It is everything you need and more with the exception of me not being there to lift your weights and count your reps


How is the program run?

Coaching commitments are 12 weeks, minimum with a 30-day cancellation notice policy.

We run this program through my client portal system.

E-mail access Mon-Fri with a 24-hour response time.

No emails on weekends.

Biweekly check-ins with touch-points alternating weeks.

Program adjustments on an as-needed basis.

I cannot afford to pay the 1-time payment. What's my options?

That is ok. While the 1-time option is the least total cost, there is a monthly payment option as well done securely through Stripe.

How much fat can I lose in your program?

Assuming you do everything right, we like to average .5-1% average loss per week. So if you were 150lbs the first week, perfect would be a loss of .75-1.5lbs in that week. Again, results may vary but this is a good start.
